For the past four years, Friesen Group has been doing research. Our guiding question, “What are the characteristics of people who are identified as field leaders?” Field leaders are persons within organizations that lead from their position, without regard to rank, position, or title. We are continuing to conduct systematic interviews with field leaders. We are conducting systematic interviews with persons who have led organizations that have developed successful field leaders. The results of our research are presented in a wide variety of forums.
